Privacy Policy

Wildwood

Last updated 5 August 2026

Wildwood has no accounts, no sign-up, and no analytics. Your progress lives on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own iCloud account. We never see it.

The one thing that does collect data is the advertising that keeps the game free. That's covered in full below.

What we collect

Nothing. Wildwood has no servers and no database of its own. There is no account to create, no email address to give us, and nothing for us to look at.

What's stored on your device

This is stored on your device. If iCloud is switched on, it also syncs through your Apple account so your walk follows you between devices. That is your iCloud, not ours — we have no access to it.

Deleting the app removes the local copy. To clear everything, including the synced copy, use Settings → Start again inside the game.

Third parties

Google AdMob — advertising

Wildwood is free, and advertising is what pays for it. Google may collect:

See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Apple

Game CenterOptional. Achievements and leaderboards, handled entirely by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.
iCloudSyncs your progress to your own Apple account.
App StoreHandles the “Remove ads” purchase. Apple processes payment; we never see card details.

What we don't use

Wildwood contains no analytics or attribution SDK of any kind — no Firebase, no Crashlytics, no Facebook SDK, no Amplitude, no AppsFlyer, no Adjust. Google AdMob is the only third-party SDK in the app.

Your choices

Children

Wildwood is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from them. Ad content is capped at a “General audiences” rating, so the advertising stays suitable for everyone.

Changes to this policy

Any material change will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
